JEM Driving School is an independent driving school in Manchester providing driving lessons in central Manchester, Rochdale, Bury, and surrounding areas.

JEM Driving School is operated by Mike Farmer, a fully qualified approved driving instructor.

In addition to driving lessons for new drivers we also offer refresher courses for drivers who have not driven for some time, and advanced driving lessons including the pass plus scheme which may enable you to claim a discount on car insurance.

Mike is a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) (Car).

He trainined to be a driving instructor with a major national driving school where he gained experience as a Prospective Driving Instructor (PDI) and then qualified as a full ADI before setting up JEM Driving School.

ADI certification is given by the Driving Standards Agency which is part of the Department for Transport. All ADIs must pass stringent tests and are subject to regular checking to ensure that standards are maintained.
